Roller Marking Machines

The main use for roller marking machines is for marking around the circumference of cylindrical components.
The part to be marked is placed on a suitable roller support, which allows it to rotate while being marked. It is marked by the linear movement of a type holder with types coming in contact with it, thus marking it whilst at the same time rotating it on the roller support.

Various models are available to suit the size and shape of the part as well as the amount and depth of the information to be marked and whether a hand or power operated model is required. Special models (MB71CE) are offered for the continuous marking along the length of bars (round, square or hexagonal). In this case a circular type holder with wedge shaped types or engraved dies is used.

Large horizontally positioned roller markers (MB76EP90)  can be supplied for marking bulky cylindrical parts such as flanges.
